YOU BLOW A FUSE, SING BOOM!

THE DEMOCRATS LOSE, SING BOOM!

Maybe I'm just a tad premature, but George Bush's appearing to have won both the electoral college and certainly his winning of the popular vote, by a margin of nearly four fan-fricking-tastic million people, tastes especially sweet when I was believing the early exit polls, which seemed to be leaning Kerry, and Electoral-Vote.com's prediction of Kerry taking a slim majority of 281 votes.

Assuming everything holds, especially in Ohio, I think I'll do a proper gloating post tomorrow, but, alas, it's nearly 3 a.m., which still feels like 4 a.m., and I've just popped open a bottle of Trois Pistoles beer and I'm damn tired.

And I was happy that I finally got a chance to use my all-time favourite misheard lyric, from Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet." The actual lyric is "The Devil Cuts Loose", but, due to Bjork's heavy Icelandic accent and weird intonations, she honestly sounds like she said "The Democrats lose" and I thought the song was trying to make some kind of satirical point.

And, aww, I guess this kind of puts a damper on the World Party, a "Global Flash Mob celebrating the end of Bush! (or declaring determined resistance if he steals it again.)". II bet they weren't expecting the pro-Bush margin to be so wide.
