PUBLIC NOTICE
(Why pay for a classified ad when I have a blog that people can find on Google?)

Are there any Ferrari enthusiasts in the Ottawa, Ontario or Gatineau, Quebec areas looking for a traveling companion with whom to attend the Ferrari Challenge race on Circuit Mont Tremblant in Mont Tremblant, Quebec on the weekend of June 15th to the 17th, 2007? This year, there's not just the Ferrari F430 Challenge, but also a "Historics" race featuring everything from the 250GT to the Enzo!
I'm an amateur photographer and artist who lacks a car with which to get to the race, and I checked the Greyhound site and there's no direct bus service from Ottawa to Mont Tremblant (I'd have to switch at Montreal and wait a ridiculous amount of time).
What's in it for you?
- Will split the cost of the hotel/motel room (reasonably-priced accomodations only, two nights maximum).
- Will split the cost of gas.
- I will give you a complete set of prints of every Ferrari photo that I take. (Allow 6 to 8 days for delivery.)
- And, as a special "thank you" gift, I will draw a coloured pencil rendering of your favourite one of my Ferrari photos (will take a while).
Hey, that sounds like a pretty sweet deal, huh? All that and my companionship... not that that last part is all that much of an incentive. Just send me an e-mail or leave a comment on this entry if interested.
If no one's interested in taking me up on that offer, I would also be interested in attending the Ottawa Ferrari Festival track event at Calabogie Motorsports Park west of Ottawa on the Friday of that very same weekend... I'll pay for the gas to get to and from there. But I'd prefer to attend the Mont Tremblant race, since that's the Ferrari version of NASCAR, with cars that are much more glamourous.
