Here I am fake-sleeping on the pillowcase, with Haruhi Suzumiya, Mikuru Asahina, and Yuki Nagato in their nighties on it, that came with the deluxe version of volume 3 of the anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
This was the most frustrating self-portrait I've ever taken, needing about 40 shots before I got one I was satisified with.

Did you go to the OIAF this year? Have you ever attended animation at Algonquin? I am interested to know.
I attended the Closing Ceremony/Awards presentation and "Best of" screening. Technically, they were all excellent, content-wise, it was a mixture of funny comedy shorts and obtuse artsy stuff with some kind of "point".
I was a volunteer for a short while for the OIAF, but then they gave me more hours at Food Basics, so I just didn't have the time or energy to continue volunteering.
The only animation training I ever had was at Inter-Dec in Montreal, and basically I ran out of money and didn't have much talent at it. At least not 3D... if I ever got back into animation on the production side, it'll be Flash.
